Mallaig Clean/Ewen’s Room walk 🚶🏻🗑️
Today we had a HUGELY successful morning collecting litter around Mallaig! P1-3 went up to the park to litter pick there and P4-7 walked to Loch An Nostarie! They did an amazing job of collecting 6 bin bags, plus larger items like oil drums! I will make a wee video in the next few days of all the pictures from today!
A massive thanks to the parents that managed to come down and help. Plus an extra special thank you to Kenny who has very kindly collected our bags of litter from along the road 🚗
The children found that there was lots of litter around the Astro pitch and play park so we will add that to our list of places to clean!
I am still in the process of sorting the online banking system, but for now, the children have popped a donations box in the coop for their efforts. There is no pressure to donate. We are hoping to raise money for new litter picking gloves as we are going through them fast! Thank you again for all of your support, and have a lovely Easter when it comes🐣
